we pull into the rest stop by the freeway.  "at least we saved what's important," your partner chuckles, shaking his head, looking between your legs to the video game console. "jackass.  and who the hell is Guntner?  you gonna share Guntner with me, big buddy?"

without saying a word, I smile, shake my head, plug the wires into the black and white TV where the glove box used to be, and fire up the game system.

"hey!" your partner yells, face beaming with a smile.  "the good times!  remember the old arcade?  our first time, the washer and the string?" I smile.  we just wanted enough cash to make that day last forever and we didn't care how we'd get there.  the Upper Decker Bandits had a hell of a run.  I opened up the dusty laptop in the back and wrote the first few words to a fresh new resume.
